Inpatient Medical Coder

Job Description
- Accurate Coding & Documentation: Review inpatient medical records, assign accurate ICD-10-CM and PCS codes, sequence diagnoses and procedures, and ensure correct POA indicators.
- Compliance & Claims Processing: Apply medical necessity guidelines, DRGs, APGs, and APRs; adhere to coding guidelines and query physicians when needed.
- Software & Account Management: Utilize 3M coding software, PCI, and Meditech systems; monitor account status and follow up with leadership as required.
- Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1-year medical coding experience with AHIMA or AAPC certification
- Amenable to work onsite (Quezon City/Taguig City/Pasay City) and do shifting schedule
