Duties and Responsibilities

• Encodes medical bills such as pharmacy, physical therapy, pathology, radiology, DME, anesthesia, med-legal, and other bills using IQ Review System.
• Meet daily production quotas in analyzing and processing medical bill with prevailing fee schedule/UCR guidelines. Select proper PPO network based on client instructions.
• Add or update Provider and Claim information as appropriate.
• Know how to follow client instructions and other training material to properly review medical bills.
• Provide quality review on work as specified by the Supervisor.
• Proactively identify system and/or bill review issues and provide feedback to supervisors or managers.
• Other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years college level or higher
• Able to work at any shift schedule.
• Ability to work on a hybrid schedule while meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Has knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Has knowledge in Medical Terminology such as CPT / ICD-9 / ICD-10 coding
• With or without Experience in Medical Bill Review
• Proficiency with 10-Key by touch. Some typing ability.
