Key Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: Designing and refining manufacturing workflows to improve throughput and reduce machine downtime.
• Quality Control: Establishing and monitoring quality protocols to minimize defects and ensure products meet technical specifications.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnosing the root causes of mechanical or electrical breakdowns on the shop floor and implementing permanent solutions.
• Safety & Compliance: Developing and enforcing safety procedures to protect workers and ensuring adherence to environmental regulations.
• Resource Management: Planning the allocation of labor, materials, and machinery to hit production targets within budget.
• Continuous Improvement: Leading Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Six Sigma initiatives to eliminate waste and increase efficiency.
• Equipment Management: Overseeing the installation, testing, and maintenance of new factory machinery and tooling. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Production Engineering is typically required.
• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for designing production layouts and fixtures.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to use statistical methods (like SPC or FMEA) to analyze production data and predict potential failures.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership to manage production teams and excellent communication to coordinate between departments like R&D and Maintenance.
