The Mandarin Chinese-Speaking Interpreter will help translate and interpret between Chinese and English (or Filipino) during meetings, site visits, and other work-related discussions. This role ensures clear communication between Chinese and foreign/local Staff to support smooth teamwork and daily operations.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide real-time interpretation oral and written (Chinese-English-Filipino) during meetings and site visits.
• Translate written documents such as business correspondence, reports, contracts, presentations, and memoranda from Chinese to English and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Help ensure clear communication between Chinese and Filipino/foreign employees, management, and partners.
• Maintain confidentiality of all translated and interpreted information, particularly regarding business operations and sensitive data.
• Serve as a liaison for cross-cultural understanding, helping promote effective communication and collaboration within a diverse work environment.
• Perform other related tasks that may be assigned to support daily operations and communication needs.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communication, Linguistics, Education, Business Administration, or any related field.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin or other dialects) both oral and written.
• Demonstrates strong interpretation and translation skills with great attention to detail and cultural awareness, capable of translating written documents such as emails, reports, memos, and contracts from Chinese to English and vice versa.
• Familiarity with technical aspects and terminology is preferred, as the role requires coordination and communication on a range of technical matters.
• Possesses a high degree of independence, initiative and decisiveness.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible and can work with minimum supervision.
• Willing to travel.
• Willing to accept Project-based status.
• Willing to be assigned in Nueva Ecija
