About the job

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for operationalizing ML-based solutions using industry-standard best-practices. You will work closely with Data Scientists and stakeholders to understand requirements and create cost-optimized solutions.

What you will do:

• Scope and spearhead projects to fine-tune, distill, or train machine learning models
• Build infrastructure to operationalize machine learning models in a cost-efficient manner
• Build pipelines for automating retroactive model performance evaluation
• Create ways for us to determine and track model performance and accuracy to improve our app and model efficiency over time
• Optimize existing deployments to reduce cost
• Innovate our on-device and cloud model architecture in MLX, ONNX, and other frameworks and model formats
• Design quality monitoring workflows to assess model performance in production
• Create visualization tools and dashboards to communicate model metrics to stakeholders

What we are looking for:

• With at least a bachelor’s degree in any quantitative discipline (i.e. Statistics, Physics, Math, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.)
• 2+ years of relevant experience

Bonus

• Experience in model optimization, conversion and deployment via ONNX and similar runtimes
