Description
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Assist in inventory management and ingredient sourcing.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for efficient service.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and practices.
- Support the head chef in daily kitchen operations.
Requirements
- Job Title: Line Cook
- Educational Qualifications: High/Senior High School diploma required.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in cooking techniques, kitchen hygiene, mise-en-place, and customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to hot surfaces and the need for heavy lifting.
- Qualities and Traits: Attention to detail, discretion, teamwork, and a commitment to high-quality food service.
