The Laborer / Construction Helper supports skilled tradespeople and construction crews by performing a variety of manual tasks on job sites. This role ensures work areas are clean, materials are prepared, and projects progress safely and efficiently. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled workers as needed

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment

• Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris, hazardous materials, and obstructions

• Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision

• Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete, asphalt, or mortar

• Set up scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures

• Measure, cut, or assemble building materials as directed

• Maintain safe and organized work areas, following all site safety policies and regulations

• Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and sweeping

• Support site supervisors with additional duties as required
