Jollibee Group’s Kitchen Operations Support provides support to all aspects of product development and improvement activities. This includes raw materials analysis, shelf-life tests, sensory and physico-chemical tests and microbiological tests.

• He would be responsible for the following routine tasks. Requisition and purchase of supplies and materials for product development and improvement with prior approval from Product Development Specialists
• To keep track of inventories/availability of supplies and materials that are regularly used in the kitchen or laboratory
• To ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and sanitation of kitchen area, equipment room, supply/spice room, and sensorium
• He would be trained to become technically familiar with the operation and cleaning/maintenance procedures of all the existing store and R&D equipment, including new and other equipment for testing and evaluation
• He would assist the Product Development Specialists in the preparation of materials, spice blends and/or premixes used for experiments and products development projects
• He would assist in the conduct of laboratory and kitchen experiments and gather pertinent data as duly supervised/instructed by the Product Development Specialists
• He would assist in the conduct of sensory evaluations and other product tests performed for JFC and competitors
• He would perform other tasks and duties related to R&D work and deemed necessary by his superior as the need arises

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have completed Secondary Education (Senior High School graduate).
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in food service in a restaurant/QSR set-up.
• Must be amenable to report to the following work conditionWork area will mostly be in the kitchen or laboratory and may be exposed to hot or cold temperatures, such as continuous cooking or retrieving supplies from the freezer
• Will be asked to carry
• May be requested to work early in the morning, overtime, and/or weekends
• May be requested to go outside the workplace for important tasks
• Must be willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig (onsite).
