About the Role:

• We are seeking a Financial Underwriter to support our U.S. small business funding team.
• In this role, you will review and analyze financial documents such as business bank statements to assess the eligibility and risk level of each funding request.
• This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented position ideal for someone with strong financial analysis skills and experience working with U.S. financial documents.

Responsibilities:

• Review business bank statements and funding applications
• Analyze cash flow, revenue consistency, and financial health indicators
• Evaluate risk levels and determine appropriate funding recommendations
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient approvals
• Provide clear and concise reasoning for all funding decisions
• Support final review and feedback processes prior to funding

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in financial underwriting or credit analysis
• Familiarity with U.S. business banking and financial statement formats is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Comfortable reviewing large volumes of financial documents daily
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently in a high-pressure environment

Bonus If You Have:

• Experience underwriting Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) or similar U.S. financial products
• Knowledge of tools like Decision Logic, MCA Track, or similar platforms
• Experience working with U.S.-based lenders or funding companies
