Job Title: Production Supervisor / Line Supervisor


Key Responsibilities:

Line Operations Monitoring

  • Check and monitor daily line activities to ensure compliance with work instructions, SOPs, and quality standards
  • Validate output, cycle time, manpower allocation, and production flow
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions

Supervision & Manpower Handling

  • Lead, monitor, and coordinate at least 20 production operators
  • Assign tasks, manage schedules, and ensure operators follow proper procedures
  • Conduct quick coaching, corrective reminders, and performance feedback

Efficiency & Productivity Improvement

  • Analyze line performance using Industrial Engineering (IE) tools such as time study, work sampling, and layout analysis
  • Recommend process improvements to increase output and reduce waste
  • Support implementation of Lean, 5S, and Kaizen activities

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Check product quality and ensure conformance to specifications
  • Coordinate with QA for defects, deviations, or abnormal findings
  • Ensure strict adherence to GMP, safety rules, and company policies

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily line performance reports: output, rejects, downtime, manpower, and efficiency
  • Assist in preparing SOPs, work standards, and process maps
  • Maintain updated records and submit timely reports to Management


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering course
  • Preferably 1–3 years experience in manufacturing, production supervision, or line monitoring
  • Strong leadership ability; able to handle and supervise at least 20 operators
  • Knowledge in IE tools such as time & motion study, process improvement, work measurement, and layout analysis
  • Understanding of GMP, quality standards, and safety protocols
  • Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
  • Willing to work in shifting schedules and fast-paced operations
