A Glimpse into Your New Role
As an
ICT On-Site Support and Build Area Staff, your role is vital in keeping our customers and employees happy and contributing to our organization’s growth and success.
In This Role, You Will
- Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and resolve issues as directed by knowledge-based tools, IT Service Desk, and/or the Shift Supervisor.
- Monitor user and system adherence to security standards.
- Evaluate and test equipment, network/software, and system tool products, submitting recommendations to the shift supervisor.
- Operate and monitor divisional operating systems, platforms, network, servers, and software, escalating and/or resolving exceptions in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist staff with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment, and software complying with given standards and guidelines.
- Escalate issues to higher levels of support when needed.
- Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution.
- Set and load computer equipment with required items and prepare equipment for operations.
- Gather and analyze information about the user’s issue and determine the best way to resolve their problem.
- Ensure hardware accessories are functional and usable, troubleshooting hardware issues as the primary scope of support.
- Provide physical support to all system users.
- Act as a second layer of support to prepare machines for WFH users, configure VPN for out-of-office environments, and arrange logistics of technology items for delivery for home use.
