Workday Configuration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Experience Solutions Consultant to join our Global HR Technology and Employee Experience group. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of HR operations, system configuration, and employee experience innovation. You will serve as a subject matter expert on Workday and other HR technologies, ensuring our digital tools are optimized, well-maintained, and continuously improved.

Key Responsibilities:

Workday Configuration & Documentation

• Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday modules, with a strong focus on Time, Absence, and Time Off.
• Develop and update detailed configuration documentation, SOPs, and process guidelines to ensure consistent and scalable system operations.

System Enhancements & Upgrades

• Lead or support configuration, testing, and deployment of system updates and new features.
• Ensure all changes comply with internal standards while maintaining data accuracy and system stability.
• Perform impact assessments, regression testing, and quality reviews before and after releases.

Solution Design & HR Technology Expertise

• Act as a go-to expert for Workday functionality and best practices.
• Partner with HR, technology, and cross-functional teams to identify needs, design solutions, and support end-to-end implementation.
• Provide guidance and support during discovery, documentation, testing, and post-launch phases.

Reporting & Analytics Support

• Build, enhance, and maintain reports and dashboards in Workday, as well as in complementary tools such as Power BI and Salesforce.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to provide accurate, actionable insights for HR and business leaders.

Project & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Manage or contribute to multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of HR technology initiatives.
• Assist with communication planning and user readiness activities to ensure strong adoption.

Qualifications:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of Workday functional configuration experience, ideally across Time & Absence, Compensation, or related HR modules.
• Hands-on experience supporting HR programs, cyclical events, and system-driven workflows.
• Background working in a large or global organization, with the ability to meet tight timelines and manage competing priorities.

Preferred

• Exposure to global payroll systems such as ADP or similar platforms.
• Experience with Workday Studio or Workday Pro certifications.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA or any case management platform (including Salesforce).
