We are looking for a proactive Human Resources Generalist to support our growing workforce of drivers, operations staff, and office personnel.

Job Summary

The Human Resources Generalist will handle end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, timekeeping support, government compliance, and policy implementation. This role requires hands-on HR experience, strong coordination with operations, and knowledge of Philippine labor laws and government statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for drivers, helpers, mechanics, dispatchers, and administrative staff
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements, medical exams, and onboarding activities
  • Conduct company orientation and ensure completion of employment documents

Employee Relations & HR Operations

  • Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters
  • Assist in the implementation of company policies and code of conduct
  • Support performance evaluation and employee development initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and confidential 201 files and HR records

Timekeeping, Payroll & Benefits Support

  • Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and leave records
  • Coordinate with payroll providers or accounting for accurate payroll processing
  • Administer statutory benefits and ensure compliance with SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR requirements
  • Process leave benefits, employee loans, and clearances

Compliance & Labor Relations

  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and DOLE regulations
  • Assist with labor inspections, audits, and report submissions
  • Support occupational safety and health (OSH) programs and company initiatives
  • Coordinate with Safety and Operations teams on driver-related documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 2–4 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in trucking, logistics, construction, or similar industries
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory benefits
  • Experience handling rank-and-file and supervisory employees
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS or payroll systems
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in handling drivers and field-based employees
  • Background in DOLE compliance, labor cases, or audits
  • Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) is an advantage
