About the role

As an HR Manager at PETWAREHOUSE, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience and driving people-centric initiatives across the organisation. This full-time position is based in Pasig City, Metro Manila and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop, implement and continuously improve HR policies, procedures and best practices
2. Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, and professional development
3. Oversee the company's compensation and benefits programmes to ensure they are competitive and aligned with industry standards
4. Facilitate and support employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinary matters and exit interviews
5. Lead and coordinate HR projects, such as organisational restructuring, training initiatives and employee engagement programmes
6. Collaborate closely with departmental leaders to understand and address their HR-related needs
7. Ensure the company's compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations
8. Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the HR function and the business

What we're looking for

1. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a generalist HR management role, preferably within the retail or consumer goods industry
2. In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation and human resources management principles
3. Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR initiatives with the company's overall objectives
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
5. Proficient in using HR information systems and data analysis to support decision-making
6. A strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and implement innovative solutions
7. Demonstrated experience in change management and driving continuous improvement
