Description
- Clean and service guest rooms, villas, and suites daily, including:
- Making beds and changing linens
- Cleaning bathrooms, floors, and surfaces
- Restocking towels, toiletries, and room supplies
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Perform deep cleaning duties on a scheduled basis.
- Report maintenance issues (e.g., leaks, broken items) to the supervisor promptly.
- Handle guest belongings with care and respect.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored safely.
- Follow all health and safety protocols and resort policies.
- Greet guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assist with laundry duties if assigned (washing, drying, ironing linens or uniforms).
- Support other housekeeping staff as needed, especially during peak times
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (resort or hotel preferred)
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Physically fit; able to stand, bend, lift, and move frequently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and time management skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
