JOB DESCRIPTION


  1. Responsible for cleaning and reporting any safety hazards to the immediate Supervisor, homeowner, or manager in-charge.
  2. They must complete tasks like vacuuming, sweeping, emptying trash cans, dusting shelves, cleaning windows, and mopping floors.
  3. Some Housekeepers change linens, wash dishes, and do light ironing and laundry


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  1. Daily routine operations:
  2. Sweep and pick up litter.
  3. Dispose of trash to the main depository of the building and clean and maintenance of garbage rooms and garbage chutes.
  4. Ground maintenance, thoroughly clean driveways, immediate surroundings of the building and other common areas.
  5. Maintain Parking Areas through the cleaning of parking floors, walls and ceilings.
  6. Sweep, damp-mop, polish and crystallization of all floors, walls and ceilings. 
  7. Spray and mop-buffing of floors
  8. Dust and damp-wipe of furniture, office equipment, shelves and fixtures.
  9. Empty and clean of ashtrays, waste paper containers and lobby sand runs.
  10. Clean and disinfect toilet bowls, urinals and washrooms.
  11. Spot wipe of walls and other partitions including glass panels.
  12. Clean and wipe all glass tops, window panes, inside and outside portions of the administration building accessible to service personnel, air, vents and partitions which require daily attention.
  13. Vacuum cleaning of rugs and carpets.
  14. Clean roof decks, machine rooms, fire exits and stairs, machine rooms.
  15. Provide suggestions on how to improve housekeeping procedure.
  16. Provide Proposals that may benefit the Association.


  1. Weekly general cleaning operations:
  2. Sweep and clean the entire perimeter area.
  3. Scrub floors tiles.
  4. Wash, strip, wax, crystallization and polish of floors.
  5. Dust all lighting fixtures, hanging lamps and electric fans, etc.
  6. Clean driveways, fire exits, parking areas, etc. 
  7. Wash and clean inside and outside glass windows, glass partitions and doors.
  8. Maintenance of garden area. 
  9. Vacuum and shampoo carpeted areas.
  10. Wash/clean/sanitize and disinfect all washrooms and toilet fixtures.


  1. Monthly periodic operations:
  2. General cleaning thru scrubbing, spot-checking of damaged tiles, removal of stains and others. 
  3. General cleaning and washing of inside walls and ceilings. 
  4. Vacuum chairs and sofa sets. 
  5. Wash and clean light diffusers, venetian blinds, screens, outside walls, ceilings, etc.
  6. Provide suggestions on how to improve housekeeping procedure.
  7. Provide proposals that may benefit the Association.
