Activity: Dynamic Compaction (Ground Improvement)

 

Job Description:  The HSE Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining all Health, Safety, and Environmental systems and procedures on the dynamic compaction project. The role ensures compliance with Menard’s global standards, client requirements, and all relevant Philippine laws and regulations. The HSE Manager will lead the site’s safety culture, proactively manage risks, and ensure the well-being of all personnel, subcontractors, and visitors.

 

Key responsibilities:

o   Lead and implement Menard’s HSE policies on site.

o   Ensure compliance with Philippines safety and environmental regulations.

o   Conduct risk assessments and develop control measures for site activities.

o   Organize HSE inductions and ongoing safety training for all personnel.

o   Perform regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance.

o   Investigate incidents, report findings, and implement corrective actions.

o   Manage subcontractor HSE performance and ensure alignment with standards.

o   Maintain accurate HSE records and prepare reports for management and clients.

o   Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement on site.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HSE or related field
  • 5+ years’ construction HSE experience
  • Relevant certifications (BOSH/COSH)
  • Strong leadership skills
