Job Description

Ensure daily kitchen operations consistently meet the high standards required to serve US Military personnel. This role supports disciplined, structured processes and focuses on maintaining a safe, consistent, and efficient food service environment. The Kitchen Supervisor will oversee day-to-day kitchen activities, support team efficiency, and ensure strict compliance with operational procedures and food safety requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure meal production meets US Military standards.
  • Monitor kitchen stations for quality, consistency, sanitation, and portion control.
  • Enforce strict compliance with HACCP, food safety protocols, and established operational procedures.
  • Support and guide kitchen team members, ensuring accountability and teamwork.
  • Coordinate with Kitchen Manager and other departments to align production with service schedules.
  • Assist in managing inventory, monitoring waste, and maintaining proper stock rotation.
  • Conduct daily briefings, shift handovers, and provide reports to management.
  • Support staff training and development to promote continuous improvement.
  • Uphold discipline, cleanliness, and adherence to company and military SOPs at all times.


Requirements

  • Proven experience supervising high-volume kitchens (institutional or military catering preferred).
  • Strong ability to follow and enforce operational systems and procedures without shortcuts.
  • Solid knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and kitchen workflow processes.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills with a strong team-first mindset.
  • Flexible, mission-focused, and able to adapt to changing operational demands.
  • Proficiency in English communication (both spoken and written).
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for work assignments.
  • Committed to discipline, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Can work in a shift schedule.
