The Graphic Artist Associate supports the creative and branding initiatives of GEM Corporation by developing visually engaging materials aligned with the company’s brand standards. The role is open to candidates with one (1) to two (2) years of relevant experience, who will be given preference; however, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply, as they are expected to contribute fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and a strong willingness to learn within a collaborative creative environment.


Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Creative Support

  • Create visual materials for both digital and print use, including but not limited to:
  • Marketing collaterals
  • Social media graphics
  • Promotional materials
  • Internal communication materials
  • Support branding requirements by ensuring consistency in layout, color, typography, and overall visual presentation.
  • Assist in conceptualizing design ideas based on project briefs and marketing requirements.

Software & Technical Execution

  • Utilize Adobe Photoshop proficiently for image editing, layout design, and visual composition.
  • Apply basic graphic design principles such as balance, alignment, contrast, hierarchy, and spacing in all outputs.
  • Prepare design files for printing or digital publishing in accordance with required specifications.

Collaboration & Revisions

  • Coordinate with the Marketing, Sales, and HR teams to understand design requirements and timelines.
  • Revise and enhance design outputs based on feedback from internal stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple design tasks while meeting agreed deadlines.

Brand & Quality Standards

  • Ensure all creative outputs adhere to GEM Corporation’s brand guidelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain organized design files and archives for easy reference and future use.

Continuous Learning & Innovation

  • Stay updated on basic design trends, tools, and techniques.
  • Contribute fresh ideas, creative solutions, and visual improvements to ongoing projects.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Experience

  • One (1) to two (2) years of relevant graphic design experience is preferred
  • Internship, freelance, or project-based experience may be considered
