About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Accountant to join the finance team at Ever Bilena Cosmetics Inc. in Metro Manila. As the General Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and the overall financial health of the organisation. What you'll be doing

Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports

Overseeing the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions

Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies

Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

Providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency

Supervising and mentoring junior members of the finance team

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or equivalent

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar general accounting role, preferably in the cosmetics or retail industry

Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, GAAP, and regulatory requirements

Proficient in using accounting software and financial reporting tools

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under tight deadlines
