Digital Renegades builds and maintains high-performance websites and digital systems for growing businesses. We work across WordPress, custom front-end builds, and modern JAMstack architectures. Our work spans ticket-based support, full site builds, and long-term optimization. We care about how things are built, how they are deployed, and how they perform in the real world.

The Role

We are looking for a web developer who understands modern web development end to end. You should be comfortable handling tickets, contributing to full site builds, and working across different environments. This includes understanding how a website goes from code to production, how DNS is configured, and how services like Cloudflare fit into the stack.

You will not be spending your days building everything in Beaver Builder, but you do need to understand how it works, how to use it when necessary, and how to support and extend sites that rely on it.

This role is for someone who enjoys tinkering, problem solving, and improving systems over time, not just completing assigned tasks.

What You Will Be Doing

• Handling support and development tickets across multiple client sites

• Building and maintaining WordPress sites and custom front end builds

• Supporting and extending Beaver Builder based sites when required

• Developing modern front end projects using Node.js based workflows

• Working with Vite and Next.js where appropriate

• Using GitHub daily for version control, collaboration, and code reviews

• Managing deployments across local, staging, and production environments

• Configuring DNS records and understanding hosting and CDN setups

• Working with Cloudflare for performance, security, and deployment workflows

• Debugging issues across code, infrastructure, and third party services

• Taking ownership of tasks from intake through completion

What We Are Looking For

• A self-starter who can manage tickets and builds without constant oversight

• Strong understanding of how modern websites are built and deployed

• Solid experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP

• Working knowledge of Node.js and modern build tooling

• Experience with Vite and Next.js

• Required experience using GitHub for real world projects

• Comfort with pull requests, branching, and collaborative workflows

• Ability to configure DNS records and work with CDN providers

• Familiarity with Cloudflare, Wrangler experience is a plus

• Ability to move confidently between different environments and codebases

• Clear communication and solid documentation habits

Bonus Points

• Experience with headless WordPress setups

• Familiarity with CI and automated deployment pipelines

• Strong performance optimization mindset

• Understanding of SEO, analytics, and tracking implementations
