Job Description

The Shipping Clerk in a manufacturing/agribusiness setting is responsible for handling the accurate preparation, documentation, and dispatch of finished goods and agricultural products. This role ensures timely shipments, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and coordination with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to meet customer and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process shipping documents (delivery receipts, bills of lading, export documents, packing lists, etc.) in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Inspect, verify, and properly pack finished goods or agricultural products to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with customer specifications.
  • Coordinate with carriers, trucking companies, and logistics partners for scheduling pickups and deliveries.
  • Monitor and track shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and resolving delays or discrepancies.
  • Work closely with the production and warehouse teams to confirm product availability, correct quantities, and proper storage/handling before shipping.
  • Maintain accurate shipping logs, records, and inventory reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety standards, and workplace safety protocols.
  • Handle returns, damaged goods, or shipment issues in coordination with the Quality and Warehouse teams.
  • Support periodic inventory counts and audits as required.
  • Manage and process All logistic Documents.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics, supply chain, or agribusiness is an advantage.
  • Experience as a Shipping Clerk or in warehouse/logistics operations, preferably in manufacturing or agribusiness.
  • Familiarity with shipping procedures, ERP systems, and documentation requirements (local and/or export).
  • Knowledge of safe handling of agricultural and manufactured goods.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Physical ability to lift, move, and handle shipments as required.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Amenable to work in TAGUIG CITY
