FoodSHAP Inc. is looking for a Financial Planning Analyst to join our growing team. You will be responsible for analyzing the company’s financial performance, providing strategic recommendations, creating and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) in order to provide insights to management in strategic decision making. This position will report DIRECTLY to the CEO/Founder.
Create and analyze reports ensuring compliance with accounting standards. (Monthly, quarterly, and annually)
Collect and analyze variance reports across departments to provide insights to top management for decision-making.
Develop, analyze, and summarize recommendations for annual or quarterly financial plans, including trend analysis.
Lead the preparation of budgets by coordinating with different departments to ensure strategic objective alignment, gather input for budget reviews, and status updates.
Develop 3-year and 5-year financial budgets and forecasts to guide strategic decisions.
Contribute to strategic business decisions by preparing profit and loss scenarios for new ventures or expansions.
Generate comprehensive financial reports and operational performance analysis highlighting key performance indicators for improving financial performance across business lines.
Ensure budget compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain internal controls.
