Job Description

Responsibilities

Philippine Finance Operations:

  • Process payroll every 15th and 30th of the month, including computations, adjustments, deductions, and statutory contributions.
  • Ensure full compliance with Philippine regulations (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR); file and remit all mandatory reports and returns (e.g., 1601-C, 1601-E, 1702, 1702Q, 0619E, 1601EQ, 1604E, 2250Q).
  • Conduct bank reconciliation for BDO and other local accounts to ensure record accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Manage vendor payments, utilities, and other operational expenses, ensuring timely disbursements.
  • Organize and categorize local expenses for accurate accounting, tax filing, and budgeting.
  • Maintain updated BPI online banking records, enroll new users, and upload payment data files.

U.S. Finance Operations:

  • Prepare and send client invoices every 1st of the month for U.S.-based clients; manage follow-ups and resolve billing questions.
  • Reconcile Chase bank accounts and verify alignment with internal financial reports.
  • Support U.S. payroll coordination for remote team members, ensuring hours, rates, and payments are accurate.
  • Assist in cross-border accounting by syncing financial data between U.S. and Philippine records.
  • Monitor and update client payment status, coordinate with management for overdue accounts, and maintain records of paid/unpaid invoices.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities and liaise with external accountants for reporting and tax filings.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to financial, tax, and labor regulations for both Philippine and U.S. operations.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Prepare reports for leadership, including summaries of revenue, expenses, payroll, and remittances.

Collaboration & Support:

  • Participate in weekly L10 meetings to present financial updates and address budget-related items.
  • Coordinate with HR and Operations on payroll, benefits, and employee reimbursements.
  • Support continuous improvement of financial systems, tools, and documentation.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with exposure to both PH and U.S. business operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine payroll, taxation, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with U.S. invoicing and bank reconciliation processes is a plus.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Zoho Business, Google Workspace, and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, admin support, and file management.
  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong sense of accountability.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across multicultural teams.
  • Must be amenable to work nightshifts
  • Must be comfortable working with timetrackers
  • Must have own working equipment (computer: atleast i5 and 8GB Ram, webcamera, and noise cancelling headset)
