Role Summary:
The manager is responsible for leading and managing client projects and delivering financial advisory services to clients. They work closely with Directors and Sr. Directors, as well as collaborating with other teams and service lines within the firm. They will also supervise, coach, and mentor Sr. Associates and Associates.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of financial advisory services, transaction due diligence, restructuring, and financial modeling, ensuring high quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Lead and oversee project teams, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and collaboration among team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external parties, and provide them with strategic advice and solutions that meet their needs and expectations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, through opportunity augmentation and cross-selling across other E78 practices, and support E78’s business development initiatives, by leveraging their network, expertise, and reputation.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and feedback to junior staff, and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, where everyone can learn, grow, and deliver.
- Enhance E78’s reputation and brand by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and excellence in service delivery, and by adhering to the firm's policies and standards.
- Specific client engagement responsibilities may include:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and reports, and ensure their accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client standards.
- Monitor and control the financial performance and cash flow of projects, and identify and mitigate any risks, issues, or variances.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls, policies, and procedures, and ensure adherence to the client’s quality and risk management framework.
- Liaise and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, such as project managers, auditors, tax authorities, and regulators, and provide timely and accurate financial information and insights.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree or a professional certification (such as CPA, CFA, or CA) is preferred.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in audit, financial advisory, consulting, or corporate finance, with a proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects.
- Experience with revenue reconciliations
- Prior successful experience in a Controller/Accounting Manager role implementing ASC 606 and ASC 842 is preferred.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to perform valuation, due diligence, financial modeling, and other financial analyses, using various tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts and issues to various audiences, clearly and concisely.
