Job Description:

UPay is seeking an experienced finance professional to join our fast-growing fintech team in Dubai. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving the company’s financial strategy, overseeing accounting operations, and supporting global business expansion.

Requirements

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial accounting or financial management, with team leadership experience;
2. Proficiency in both International and Chinese financial accounting standards; experience in multinational corporations or Chinese enterprises is a plus;
3. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with various financial software; strong financial analysis and risk control capabilities;
4. Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are preferred;
5. Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and drive business development.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee all aspects of the company’s financial management, lead and mentor the accounting team, and supervise daily financial accounting and report preparation;
2. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness;
3. Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control efforts; regularly analyze budget performance and provide improvement recommendations;
4. Establish and enhance financial internal control systems to ensure compliance, security, and operational efficiency;
5. Provide financial analysis support for business decisions, including investment analysis, capital planning, and risk assessment;
6. Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other external parties to coordinate and ensure smooth execution of related tasks;
7. Continuously optimize financial processes and systems to elevate financial management standards and overall team effectiveness.
