We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Cyber Security Specialist to take ownership of securing our digital infrastructure, systems, and data. This role is critical in ensuring business continuity, data integrity, and risk mitigation across the organization.

You’ll be working closely with our development, infrastructure, and product teams to identify vulnerabilities, lead proactive defenses, and improve our overall security posture. This is a remote full-time opportunity with flexible hours and performance-based compensation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis across internal systems and applications.
• Design, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor networks and systems for unusual activity, investigate security breaches, and take appropriate action.
• Manage and optimize firewalls, endpoint security, and intrusion detection/prevention tools (IDS/IPS).
• Document incidents, prepare reports, and support security audits and compliance reviews.
• Deliver security awareness training and promote secure coding practices within technical teams.
• Collaborate on secure design implementation across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Stay informed on latest threat intelligence, compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR), and emerging attack vectors.

• 2+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or related roles.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, endpoint protection, and system hardening (Linux/Windows).
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as Nessus, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Wireshark, and OSINT platforms.
• Familiarity with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) is a strong advantage.
• Excellent analytical, incident response, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Preferred certifications: CEH, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, CISSP, or similar.
