Develop, implement, and monitor credit policies and procedures tailored to real estate clients and project timelines.
Assess and approve credit applications, ensuring thorough due diligence and risk mitigation.
Increase the collection effectiveness index (CE).
Review and manage aging reports to track outstanding accounts and prioritize collection efforts.
Liaise with clients and internal teams to resolve billing issues and disputes, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Negotiate payment plans and settlements where necessary.
Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit.
Establish KPIs and collection targets, ensuring alignment with business goals and cash flow requirements.
Increase the HDMF – PAR Ratio or at best within the 90% benchmark.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Collaborate with legal and sales teams to escalate and resolve delinquent accounts.
Prepare regular reports for senior management regarding collections performance, risk exposure, and recommendations for improvement.
Training and mentoring of staff members in the collections department.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in credit and collections, with at least 3 years in the real estate industry.
Proven experience in managing large volumes of receivables in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of real estate contracts, lease agreements, and billing cycles.
Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Familiarity with ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Yardi, or similar).
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of local real estate laws and credit regulations is a strong advantage.
Professional certification (e.g., Certified Credit Executive – CCE) is a plus.
