Responsibilities

  • Ensure both company and government benefits are complied on time (R)
  • Regularly track deadlines for the submission and processing of company-provided and government-mandated benefits such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and 13th-month pay.
  • Prepare and process benefits claims, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and submitted on time.
  • Liaise with government agencies to ensure compliance with current regulations and promptly address any issues or discrepancies.
  • Inform employees about their benefits, eligibility, and timelines, ensuring they are aware of the procedures and deadlines.
  • Ensure Timely and Accurate Application of Adjustments on Payroll (R)
  • Regularly review payroll data for accuracy, ensuring any adjustments such as overtime, deductions, and bonuses are applied correctly.
  • Ensure that any payroll adjustments, salary increases, or other factors are accurately reflected in the payroll system.
  • Quickly identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in payroll, coordinating with the relevant departments to make necessary corrections.
  • Timely and Accurate Final Pay Computation (R) Oversee the performance appraisal system.
  • Accurately compute final pay for employees separating from the company, ensuring all outstanding payments, such as accrued leave, bonuses, and other entitlements, are included.
  • Ensure final pay computations comply with local labor laws and company policies, avoiding any legal repercussions.
  • Communicate with departing employees to explain their final pay computation and address any queries or concerns they may have.
  • Remarkable Customer Experience (R)
  • Provide responsive and courteous support to employees regarding their compensation and benefits inquiries, ensuring they feel valued and well-informed.
  • Identify and propose enhancements to compensation and benefits processes to streamline operations and improve employee satisfaction.
  • Anticipate employee needs and provide timely updates on any changes in compensation and benefits policies.
  • Reports
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on compensation and benefits activities, including payroll summaries, benefits usage, and compliance status.
  • Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide detailed reports to management on compensation and benefits costs, projections, and recommendations for future policies.
