Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and cooking dishes according to the menu, focusing on quality and consistency.
• Support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring timely food service.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi food safety standards (SFDA regulations) and maintain hygiene practices.
• Prepare ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning under supervision.
• Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and stock rotation.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas in line with local health regulations.
• Assist with training and supervising junior kitchen staff.
• Adhere to cultural and religious sensitivities in food preparation (e.g., halal compliance).
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to innovate menu items tailored to local tastes.
• Fill in for the Head Chef when required.

Qualifications:

• Culinary diploma or formal training preferred.
• Experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within the Gulf region or Saudi Arabia.
• Knowledge of halal food preparation and local culinary preferences.
• Familiarity with SFDA food safety guidelines.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Flexible working hours including weekends and public holidays.
• Good physical stamina to endure kitchen demands.
