Description
- Plan and create menus featuring seasonal ingredients.
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Manage kitchen staff, delegating tasks as needed.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld.
- Oversee ingredient quality and inventory management.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff for optimal service.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and workspace cleanliness.
Requirements
- Job Title: Chef
- Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field
- Experience Level: 1-3 years in a similar role
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in cooking techniques, mise-en-place, and kitchen hygiene; strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail; customer-oriented approach
- Responsibilities and Duties: Prepare and cook menu items, maintain kitchen cleanliness, ensure food quality, manage inventory, and collaborate with kitchen staff
