Description
- Ensure compliance with health and safety laws and regulations
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures
- Investigate accidents and conduct root cause analysis
- Provide regular reports to HR manager on health and safety issues
- Conduct employee training on health and safety practices
- Compliance to permitting and other documentations
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science a related field is required.
- Experience Level: Candidates must have 1-3 years of experience in health and safety roles.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety practices, and quality management systems, exceptional problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
- Working Conditions: This role may require both office-based work and site inspections. Must be willing to wear safety gear and travel to different company locations as required.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, proactive, with a high level of integrity and professionalism. Must have the ability to handle emergencies and the capacity to work under pressure.
