- Diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Inspect vehicles to identify worn or damaged parts and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive trade school certificate preferred
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and mechanical systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is a plus but not required
