We are expanding our embodied robotics data collection business in Southeast Asia and are looking for Business Development Representatives to support local market development and offline partnership acquisition.
This is a field-oriented BD role. You will work closely with local merchants, factories, hotels, hospitals, and other real-world workplaces to enable on-site data collection for embodied robotics, using wearable data collection devices.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct offline visits to potential partners such as factories, hotels, hospitals, workshops, and other commercial sites
• Identify and negotiate data collection cooperation opportunities with local businesses
• Explain the data collection process and coordinate on-site execution
• Facilitate the use of our wearable data collection devices by workers during their normal daily tasks
• Ensure smooth data collection in real working environments, focusing on hand motion and operational behavior data
• Maintain long-term relationships with partners that allow continuous and scalable data collection
• Track and report data collection progress and effective data duration
Target Candidate Profile
• Based in Vietnam / Philippines / Indonesia / Thailand
• Preferred backgrounds:
o Ethnic Chinese
o Local candidates with China study experience
o Local candidates with overseas study or work experience
• Strong Chinese or English communication skills (one is sufficient; bilingual is a plus)
• Smart, flexible, proactive, and highly self-driven
• Able to follow execution plans and adapt quickly in a fast-moving startup environment
• Willing to work in the field and engage in frequent offline visits
Experience Requirements
• Around 3 years of working experience
• Experience in data labeling / data collection / AI-related market promotion is a strong plus
• Candidates from BD / sales roles in factories, hotels, manufacturing, service industries, or B2B environments are also welcome
• Fresh senior-level sales professionals are not required; execution ability is more important than title
Compensation & Incentives
• Base salary + performance-based commission
• Commission is calculated based on effective data collection hours:
Commission = Effective Hours × Unit Price
Example: 0.4 / hour × effective hours collected
• Monthly total compensation equivalent to RMB 10,000 – 15,000, with no upper limit for top performers
• The more collection sites and effective hours you generate, the higher your income
• Long-term partnerships (e.g. large factories) allow continuous accumulation of effective data hours and recurring commission
