Job Description

A Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers along designated routes, adhering to schedules, and ensuring a comfortable and secure journey. This role requires excellent driving skills, customer service, and the ability to handle various traffic situations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate buses along established routes, following traffic laws and safety regulations.
Ensure passengers board and exit the bus safely.
Maintain a timely schedule and adjust driving as necessary to avoid delays.
Assist passengers with boarding, especially those with special needs.
Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the bus before and after each trip.
Report any mechanical issues or accidents to management immediately.

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus driving.
Clean driving record with no major violations.
Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Ability to interact positively with passengers and provide excellent customer service.
Strong attention to detail, particularly in route planning and safety procedures.
Ability to manage a vehicle in varying traffic conditions.
Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
