- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate base materials (cement, adhesive, etc.).
- Measure and mark surfaces to determine tile layout and patterns.
- Cut and shape tiles to fit corners, edges, and irregular spaces using hand and power tools.
- Mix and apply mortar, adhesives, and grout as required.
- Install a variety of tile types such as ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, mosaic, and stone.
- Ensure proper tile alignment, spacing, and finish.
- Clean and polish completed work, removing excess grout or adhesive.
- Repair or replace broken or damaged tiles as needed.
- Follow blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
- Comply with all workplace safety rules and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
