Store Supervisor
The Store Supervisor ensures the achievement of sales targets and manages store operations by monitoring inventory, organizing work schedules, and providing store performance reports. The role manages the performance of sales staff, organizes staff meetings, and performs other related duties that ensure the successful operation of the store. Customer service skills are applied, and sales staff are mentored.
A. Sales Achievement
• Ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
• Provide excellent sales service by performing product demos, assessing customer needs, and providing assistance and information on product features.
• Inform customers of deals and promotions.
• Answer customer inquiries.
• Remain knowledgeable about products offered and discuss available options.
• Process sales transactions through POS.
B. Customer Service
• Handle and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
• Suggest ways to improve sales, such as planning marketing activities or changing the store’s design.
• Maintain an updated customer database.
• Ensure attainment of a 90% customer service rating.
C. Inventory Management
• Comply with inventory control procedures. Participate in inventory cycle counts and reconciliation.
• Ensure updated bin cards for all products received and sold.
• Accomplish sales orders for stock replenishment.
• Facilitate merchandise returns and pull-outs effectively.
• Properly document any product movement or transfer.
D. Administrative Supervision
• Oversee the sales process to ensure compliance with prescribed guidelines, procedures, and standards.
• Train and mentor sales associates on product knowledge and selling skills.
• Attend meetings, conferences, and other company events.
Store Management
• Monitor processes for product displays and ensure merchandise is properly stored.
• Maintain the store in a clean and presentable condition.
• Report any store damages that require repair.
• Provide assistance to HRAD in monitoring equipment maintenance and assist in repair or maintenance activities.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned from time to time.
E. Reports
• Submit daily and monthly sales reports.
• Submit updated customer database.
• Submit inventory reports.
