What You’ll Do

• Build, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs
• Design and implement scalable, secure server-side architectures
• Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and designers
• Integrate third-party services, payment systems, and external APIs
• Ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability of backend systems
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile sprints

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience as a Backend Developer
• Strong experience with Django and Django REST Framework
• Solid understanding of Python and backend best practices
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
• Familiarity with authentication, permissions, and security best practices
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD workflows
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote setup
• Ability to effectively use AI-assisted tools for coding, debugging, refactoring, and improving development productivity

Nice to Have

• Experience with Node.js (Express.js or similar frameworks)
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Redis, Celery, background jobs, or task queues
• Docker and containerized deployments
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Testing experience (unit tests, integration tests)
