Auto Mechanic

Salary: 20,800

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have experience both on light vehicles and heavy vehicles (trucks)
• Certification from a vocational school or ASE certification preferred
• Proven experience as an auto mechanic
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations
• Repair or replace worn parts and systems
• Conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems
• Maintain accurate records of services and repairs
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair options
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
• Stay updated on new automotive technologies and repair methods
• Keep the work area clean and organized
