Description
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for construction, civil, structural, or geotechnical projects using AutoCAD or other CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop and revise drawings based on design requirements.
- Interpret technical details, sketches, and specifications to produce accurate construction plans.
- Ensure that drawings are compliant with relevant codes, standards, and company policies.
- Update and revise existing drawings based on project changes, site conditions, or feedback from the engineering team.
- Maintain organized filing systems of all drawings and related documents (digital and hard copy).
- Assist in preparing "as-built" drawings upon project completion.
Requirements
- A diploma or certificate in Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and/or 3D); knowledge of other design tools (e.g., Civil 3D, Revit, SketchUp) is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and technical documents.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in construction, civil works, or geotechnical projects is a plus.
