Food Safety & Hygiene Academy of the Philippines (FoodSHAP) is the leading and first educational institution in the Philippines dedicated to developing world-class Food Safety Qualification Programs for food handlers. As a social enterprise, FoodSHAP is committed to raising awareness on food safety and building a strong food safety culture. We support and fund sustainable programs, including free training, public

awareness campaigns, and capacity-building initiatives to benefit food handlers, businesses, and communities across the country.


We are looking for a Training Associate to join our team! This is not an HR position and not a trainer role—instead, this position focuses on coordinating and managing training logistics to ensure smooth and effective training sessions. The Training Coordinator will work closely with trainers, internal stakeholders, and vendors to manage training materials, schedules, and resources.


  • Coordinate with trainers and internal stakeholders to identify training needs and manage training schedules.
  • Prepare and organize training materials (manuals, presentations, e-learning modules).
  • Oversee training systems (LMS, databases) and maintain accurate training records.
  • Communicate with trainers, participants, and vendors to ensure smooth training operations.
  • Track training progress, collect feedback, and suggest improvements.
  • Quality assurance: monitor sessions for quality and learner engagement.
  • Handle logistics for training events, including materials distribution and inventory management.
  • Travel across the country as needed for fieldwork.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Education, Office Administration, Business Administration, and other similar courses
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Prior experience in training coordination, learning & development, or program administration is a plus
