Job Description

The Assistant Manager – Solar Asset Performance will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the performance of the company’s solar energy assets. This role involves ensuring maximum efficiency, reliability, and profitability of solar PV systems through performance analysis, data interpretation, and coordination with operations and maintenance teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily monitoring and performance analysis of solar PV plants to ensure optimal output and efficiency.
  • Utilize monitoring platforms such as VCOM and SCADA to identify underperformance, equipment faults, or system inefficiencies.
  • Conduct detailed performance assessments using tools like PVsyst and NetSuite, providing reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team to ensure timely resolution of system issues and preventive maintenance.
  • Support in asset management activities, including documentation, compliance reporting, and performance forecasting.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance energy yield and minimize downtime.
  • Generate technical and financial performance reports for internal management and stakeholders.
  • Supervise a small technical team and ensure alignment with company standards and objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field is highly preferred
  • 5+ years’ relevant experience in solar asset management, performance engineering, or O&M Knowledge of solar PV systems, monitoring platforms (e.g., VCOM, SCADA), and performance analysis tools (e.g., PVsyst, NetSuite)
