Description

Sales and Profitability

  • Area Manager- Metro North is primarily responsible for the sales and profitability of shops assigned under him
  • Operational budget per assigned store is submitted for approval taking into consideration sales targets for per store.
  • Sales and operating income targets for stores in assigned area are achieved.
  • Overall inventory levels of all assigned stores are tracked to ensure that they are maintained within established minimum levels.
  • Overhead expenses of stores under his area are maintained at agreed targets.
  • Present and previous stores’ sales performance is taken into consideration in formulating proposed monthly/quarterly plans, which are submitted to Assistant/Operations Manager

Customer Satisfaction

  • At Rapide, the Area Manager is in charge for achieving total customer satisfaction through the provision of superior products, outstanding service and well-trained store personnel of all shops in his area.
  • Achieving the target Customer Satisfaction Index by ensuring the quality of workmanship on all installations and services performed the first time by all the stores assigned to his area.
  • Carrying out of the Rapide Mandatory Inspection Procedure with all customers.
  • Escalated customer complaints are investigated and rectified according to policies and procedures.
  • Actual customer complaints are analyzed and consolidated for submission to Assistant/Operations Manager.
  • Quality, Service and Cleanliness audits of stores in other areas are conducted as assigned
  • Ensuring the thoroughness, completeness and accuracy of all vehicular inspections and estimates performed.
  • Specific action plans are developed with Assistant Area Managers and Store Managers based on strategic direction of the company.
  • Monthly/quarterly activities in assigned stores are scheduled according to priority and business impact.
  • Decisions requiring approval of or consultation with Assistant/Operations Manager are made accordingly.
  • New and existing policies and procedures pertaining to store operations are communicated and implemented down the line through appropriate channels.
  • Reporting requirements from subordinates are established.
  • Feedback is given to Assistant/Operations Manager on the results of marketing programs.
  • Monthly meetings with the Assistant/Operations Manager and other managers are attended as scheduled.
  • Area meetings with respective Senior/Store Managers are conducted monthly/quarterly
  • Concurrent feed backing and performance review meetings are conducted with direct subordinates in a timely manner.
  • Submissions of required reports of direct subordinates are monitored.
  • Relevant market data in assigned area are collected, analyzed and relayed to Assistant/Operations Manager.
  • Approved local store marketing programs are relayed to Assistant Area Managers and Store Managers for implementation.
  • Minimum acceptable audit ratings of assigned stores are achieved. Enhancement steps are undertaken to maintain and improve rating. Corrective actions in case of audit variances against minimum standard are carried out.
  • Summary of audit reports for all audited stores are submitted to Assistant/Operations Manager within 3 days (what period?) after completion of audit.
  • Store visits are conducted to ensure efficient and effective operations of each assigned store. Frequency of store visits is assigned and agreed by Assistant/Operations Manager.
  • Store visit report is submitted to Assistant/Operations Manager after each visit.
  • Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports of all assigned stores are collected, analyzed and consolidated for submission to Assistant/Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College degree
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field
  • Okay with fieldworks
  • Technical knowledge with Cars
  • Strong sales, negotiating, analytical and reporting skills
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience
  • Willing to be assigned anywhere in North Luzon
