Job Description
- Sells products or services to customers, and builds relationships with them.
- Identify customer needs: Understand what customers want and how they can benefit from a product or service
- Promote products: Present products and services, and explain how they can help customers
- Negotiate: Use persuasion to overcome objections and close sales
- Meet sales goals: Work towards sales targets, which may be weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually
- Build relationships: Maintain relationships with existing customers and develop new ones
- Handle customer issues: Resolve customer problems and complaints
- Coordinate sales: Work with team members and other departments to achieve sales goals
- Prepare sales reports: Create reports to help develop sales plans and programs
