Educational Qualifications

  • Business or IT-related course
  • Graduate of a bachelor’s degree course


Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience
  • Data entry, customer service, or administrative experience is preferred


Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing renewal notices and reports for release to clients, intermediaries, and branches
  • Reviewing the renewal terms and conditions of policies prior to their release
  • Completing all batch processes including reminders to clients, intermediaries, and branches via email and text messages
  • Liaising with adjacent departments to maintain prompt turnaround times
  • Executing transactions in the system, including but not limited to updates and changes to policy information (endorsements) and cancellations
  • Communicating vital information to relevant stakeholder groups in a prompt and professional manner


Other Duties

  • Taking an active role in the Performance Appraisal process as prescribed by company policy
  • Participating in the department’s action planning and strategy implementation
  • Being ready to respond to changes within the department such as switching functions or teams
  • Performing ad hoc tasks consistent with meeting the objectives of the department and company as a whole


Skills and Competencies

Must-Have Skills

  • Ability to work through and make sense of large sets of data
  • Ability to interpret and create reports
  • Willingness to adapt to change
  • Basic business writing skills


Good-to-Have Skills

  • Basic understanding of insurance
  • Ability to convey complex concepts to non-experts
  • Proven track record as a team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
