The General Accounting Specialist handles day-to-day accounting and financial reporting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions. This role supports month-end closings, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and review journal entries, adjustments, and accruals.
• Maintain general ledger schedules, supporting documentation, and reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor intercompany transactions and reconcile balances.
• Support fixed assets accounting, depreciation, and inventory adjustments.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with AP, AR, and Payroll teams to ensure accuracy.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related field.
• 2–3 years in general accounting or audit; fresh graduates with strong academics considered.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and Excel skills
• Familiarity with accounting systems (SAP or similar is a plus)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls
• Good time management, organizational skills, and teamwork
