What you'll be doing

• Oversee the full accounting cycle including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and related analyses
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations
• Manage and supervise the accounting team, providing guidance and development opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision making
• Identify process improvements and implement efficient accounting practices
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed

What we're looking for

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 4-5+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting
• Demonstrable expertise in general accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of accounting professionals
• Familiarity with the insurance industry or financial services sector is preferred
