General Manager (General Merchandise)

Reports To: Company Owner/Designate

Role Purpose: Drive profitability and growth through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business strategies aligned with company goals.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency in inventory, logistics, and customer service.
• Manage budgets, analyze financials, and implement cost controls to maximize profitability.
• Drive sales growth through effective marketing, pricing, and customer relationship management.
• Build, motivate, and lead a high-performing team.
• Ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation.

• Extensive Experience: 5+ years in senior management within the Philippine retail/wholesale sector.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business (MBA preferred) for strong business acumen.
• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the local retail landscape and consumer behavior.
• Communication Skills: Fluent in English and Filipino (Bisaya proficiency a plus) to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Leadership & Analytical Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, analyze data, and solve problems.
