About the role

Philmetal Products, Inc. is seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing external audits and ensuring the financial integrity of the organization.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising audit teams and ensuring timely completion of audit engagements
• Reviewing audit working papers and financial statements to identify potential risks and issues
• Liaising with clients to understand their business, operations, and accounting practices
• Preparing comprehensive audit reports, highlighting findings and recommendations
• Implementing and maintaining audit procedures and policies to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Providing guidance and training to junior auditors to support their professional development
• Collaborating with the finance and accounting departments to address control weaknesses and improve financial reporting

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in external auditing, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, and financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
• Proficient in using audit software and data analysis tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
• CPA certification and a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
