We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrual accounting, and tax compliance. As an Accounting Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and post journal entries for accruals and adjustments.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper recording of financial transactions.
• Maintain compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
• Provide support during audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.



Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, accruals, and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus.
